Kristi brought Harrison back in for a few shots with his older siblings.. this baby is LOVED! Couldn’t believe how much this little guy has already grown – had to show off his proud big sis & bro, Avery & Wells!

I could not believe when Harper’s mommy called me to schedule her 1 year birthday photo shoot! Seems like yesterday she was all fresh & new, but no! she is definitely a year old… walking, talking, & charming everyone in her path. Those bright blue eyes will stop you in your tracks and then she tops it off with a huge smile – my heart be still!! Can you tell I love babies?? : ) Thank you to Callie’s Confections for making Harper’s polka dot cake – she does a fabulous job & her cupcakes are phenomenal. Oh, and you might wonder where you can get one of those frilly pettiskirts sets for your little one – check out Bon Bebe in Asheville, Nc (best boutique around). Harper really loved her cake – especially her polka dots! Thank you, Mitch & Krista for bringing Harper back in.

Welcome, tiny Prince Harrison – well, not really so tiny – he tipped the scales at 9 pounds when he arrived. We have had so much snow for our area this winter & had to reschedule his first session and almost had to reschedule this one. Thankfully, the weather cooperated and we got him here and he was a great little sleeper… he has the quietest little cry I have ever heard - precious! I have got to give a special shout out to my assistant – she showed up with a Large Cherry Coke from Sonic – if you know me, you know this is my favorite.. I have a thing for the ice from Sonic. Perfect session, perfect refreshment : )

Averie came into this world over 9 pounds and I can tell you that every single ounce of her is as scrumptious as can be. She has lips, lashes & cheeks to die for – seriously. I could have kept shooting images of her, but it got late and her mommy insisted she must take her home, so I unhappily obliged. : ) Averie’s newborn portraits are especially meaningful because her daddy, Don serves our country in the United States Army. He is deploying in less than 10 days to Iraq and will be away from his family for a year. Can I just take a minute and tell you how proud I am of our soldiers and how I admire that they sacrifice so much for our freedom – if you see one of our soldiers out in public – please take a minute and thank them for all that they do for us. I can’t imagine having to leave a spouse and children for a year, so thank you, Don for serving the U.S.A. Averie’s big sister, Cierra (who I have known since birth), came along for the session and we got some beautiful images of her being the big sister (which she is excellent at, I might add).
