Welcome to the world, sweet Adelyn! This was my first time traveling to photograph a newborn – we packed the studio up and had knitted hats & props in every little space in our Jeep & set out to Atlanta, Georgia to capture Adelyn in her first few days. I am not going to lie, it was hard to leave that night. Jake & Abi are the proud & adorable parents – Jake serves in the United States Army and is stationed in Afghanistan, but was able to fly home a few days before the birth and must head out on Thanksgiving Day to go back to fighting for our country. Special, special thank you, Jake for serving us all. Jake & Abi – I know you are enjoying these few days together as a family – how blessed you are- I will be praying that your next few months apart will go by quickly & that these precious pictures will help you remember the time you are sharing right now.
I know I am jumping ahead of a few sessions that I want to post, but I wanted to get these up before Jake leaves the country… promise to post more from this session at a later time & get more sessions up soon.

This session went so fast due to the fact that these children & their parents were magnificent, patient & kind. I immediately fell in love with Ava & Parker. They giggled and smiled the entire time – no problem getting their natural smiles.

Granna Linda, thank you for requesting the “clock” shot, I haven’t done this shot in so long and I had forgotten how much I love it!
Madison entered the world just 9 days ago and is as dainty and beautiful as she can be. She was the perfect little model, didn’t even make a peep. She let us put her in any pose, any bowl, chair, hat or wrap… made it very easy for me. Bret & Hayley & Granna Linda got to relax and catch up on some sleep while Madison charmed us with her perfect self. I have to brag.. I have the best and I do mean the BEST newborn assistant around.. so much that I am spoiled with her help & not sure if I could ever go back to doing these sessions alone. Brundi.. thank you IMMENSELY for all the time & love you pour into these newborns- your services are not taken lightly..
