Welcome little Eli! Eli’s mommy & daddy were in just a few days ago and went straight from their session to the hospital to bring this little guy into the world. He slept & slept for his session – making it just perfect. I can’t stress enough how important it is to get these little ones into the studio during the first 7 days of freshness – makes it possible to get the fun & creative shots. Speaking of creative shots, check out the last one – Gary (Eli’s daddy) is a spectacular guitar player & brought in his guitar case & Fender guitar for something unique – and unique it is! Take a look at the one in the wooden bowl, too – my personal favorite – especially love that little big toe caught on the side. *sigh* Absolutely NOTHING sweeter than a fresh little bundle. Gary & Ashley enjoy every little moment.

Ok, so you don’t get much closer than this. Gary & Ashley arrived last night for the their maternity session & Ashley tells me that even though she is 2 1/2 weeks away from her due date that she started having a few contractions on the way. Didn’t think much of it… but we had to stop every 9 minutes & then eventually every 5 minutes to let her breathe through her contractions – she definitely was in some serious labor. Determined to get some shots before she headed to the hospital, she kept on going & what a night to remember. They left here and went straight to the hospital and welcomed little ELI at 4:15 this morning. I know how priceless these portraits already are to them. Looking forward to Eli’s first photo shoot – coming soon.
