{Miss Lily} – North Carolina Baby Photographer

Meet little Lily – she was chosen as a model for the Casting Call that was posted a few weeks back. She is only 7 months but so strong~ I think she will be an early walker! She has the most amazing blue eyes – just precious. This little skirt is called the Tiny Dancer made by my favorite tutu designer on etsy – *Frillerup* – you have to check out her items. She has the greatest skirts for First Birthday’s, Easter, Dress up or any special occasion. I have had many clients order skirts for their little girls – let me know if you get one, I would love to get a shot of the design you choose!

{Campbell & Carson} – North Carolina Children’s Photographer

My little friends Campbell & Carson came in today to help me with some modeling that I needed done.  They are the children of one of my best friends, Carrie.  She has 4 amazingly, gorgeous children & a wonderful husband Jonathan.  Campbell was a superb little model & let me tell you, the girl has got some dance moves- think she must learn them from her mom!  Carson saw the “toy basket” and insisted he get some pictures taken so he could get his “treat”.  Sure glad we didn’t pass up on those… can’t resist those freckles & that smile.  Love these kids.  Carrie, thank you for bringing them in.

{baby Jack} – North Carolina Newborn Photographer

Introducing little Jack – just 8 days old. For sure one of the sweetest babies to ever visit the studio. His amazing parents, Caleb & Emily are as proud as they can be of their little bundle and they have every reason to be! C & E , I am so proud of you both & you are going to have the time of your life having little Jack in your life. I am looking forward to watching him grow up. We had some exciting moments in the studio & made some wonderful memories that we will laugh at for years to come. It seems like yesterday Emily (Jack’s mommy) was a flower girl in my wedding & now to see her as a mommy is awe inspiring. Check out that blanket in the last shot – it was hand knit by Jack’s Great-GranJan. BEAUTIFUL blanket!

Don’t forget, if you are wanting to book a newborn session – it is best to get them into the studio in their first week of life. It is a session that you will cherish forever, as watching your newborn being photographed is a fun-filled, emotionally charged time. We eat, laugh, share & cry together over the course of the 3-4 hour session & the result is memories & portraits that capture your little one’s first days. Go ahead and give me a call and we will get your due date on the calendar. You will not regret it!

{Sarah} – North Carolina Children’s Photographer

I had a casting call last for some new faces to come into the studio to help model some designs by my favorite Etsy designer – frillerup. Sarah was chosen as my 3 yr. old model & she was perfect! My only requirement was that they loved having their picture taken & that they could take instruction well & wow! she is one of the best behaved little 3 yr. olds (actually she just turned 4 last weekend) that I have ever worked with. Sarah- thank you for doing so great and I am so happy to have you as one of my new little friends! Come back & see me soon.

I wanted to take a couple of minutes to share with you Sarah’s families story. Last summer, one of their little girls {Claire} was unexpectedly taken home to heaven. From talking to their mother, Angela & from reading their blog – Claire brought a huge amount of sunshine & laughter to their home. I have seen their story on the news a few times and have personally heard their story of faith & peace from different people in our community. When Angela told me who she was on the phone, I was saddened yet at the same time very excited to meet these inspiring people face to face. Their strength & faith in God is a challenge to me & when they walked in the door I could feel & see God’s presence all around. I asked Angela if I could share their blog information and she gave me permission to post it. Please take time to go visit their personal family blog & be ready to be inspired & take a minute to let them know how their story has inspired you. I wish I could have met Claire here on earth, but look forward to the day when I can meet her beautiful face in heaven.
