This gorgeous couple came in recently wanting to get some belly shots before their “babybean” makes her arrival. I couldn’t believe when Melissa came in wearing her regular jeans and had the most adorable [baby bump]. I haven’t heard yet if she has delivered, but if not it should be any day. I already know their newborn session will be fun & I am excitedly waiting for the call!
Ok, so you don’t get much closer than this. Gary & Ashley arrived last night for the their maternity session & Ashley tells me that even though she is 2 1/2 weeks away from her due date that she started having a few contractions on the way. Didn’t think much of it… but we had to stop every 9 minutes & then eventually every 5 minutes to let her breathe through her contractions – she definitely was in some serious labor. Determined to get some shots before she headed to the hospital, she kept on going & what a night to remember. They left here and went straight to the hospital and welcomed little ELI at 4:15 this morning. I know how priceless these portraits already are to them. Looking forward to Eli’s first photo shoot – coming soon.
Congratulations, Gary & Ashley – I know you are enjoying your little guy a couple of weeks early!
