Part 2 of the petite little Pherson. My prediction for this little one is that she is going to be very active & extremely smart. The only other baby I have seen that fights sleep so much is my little Sage & seven years later, she is still fighting sleep & extremely active! Although, I did stop by for a little visit with Pherson and she slept like a pro, maybe she just doesn’t like to sleep in the studio… : ) Pherson’s daddy, Jonathan, is a guitar lover & has a special guitar that is a McPherson – this is where Pherson gets her name from. We wanted to create a few pictures around the guitar and I thought they turned out fun! This couple is gorgeous inside & out – don’t you think?? I bragged on Tara last post, so I will on Jonathan this time. He is in an actor and has been in some of our favorite movies, “A Walk to Remember” & “The Notebook” – pick up a copy and see him in action!
Newborn sessions are filling up – just booked 3 in the last day – remember only a limited number a month, so don’t hesitate to make your appointment. Also, looking forward to seeing how my newborn’s from last year have grown at their One Year Birthday sessions…

Welcome to the world, sweet Adelyn! This was my first time traveling to photograph a newborn – we packed the studio up and had knitted hats & props in every little space in our Jeep & set out to Atlanta, Georgia to capture Adelyn in her first few days. I am not going to lie, it was hard to leave that night. Jake & Abi are the proud & adorable parents – Jake serves in the United States Army and is stationed in Afghanistan, but was able to fly home a few days before the birth and must head out on Thanksgiving Day to go back to fighting for our country. Special, special thank you, Jake for serving us all. Jake & Abi – I know you are enjoying these few days together as a family – how blessed you are- I will be praying that your next few months apart will go by quickly & that these precious pictures will help you remember the time you are sharing right now.
I know I am jumping ahead of a few sessions that I want to post, but I wanted to get these up before Jake leaves the country… promise to post more from this session at a later time & get more sessions up soon.

This session went so fast due to the fact that these children & their parents were magnificent, patient & kind. I immediately fell in love with Ava & Parker. They giggled and smiled the entire time – no problem getting their natural smiles.
I think this year I have been the world’s worst blogger. It seems there is never time to sit and write, but I am going to try to post a few more from these last few busy weeks in the next few days. I can’t believe that I am relatively finished with 2009 – only 1 more family session and 2 newborns to go. It has been great, but I am looking forward to some “just family” time – my children are growing too fast and I want to cherish every single moment of this Thanksgiving & Christmas season. I hope everyone is busy getting things ready for their family Thanksgiving feast & getting their cameras ready to capture these priceless memories.
