{Finn~9 days fresh} – North Carolina Newborn Photographer

Welcome, Mr. Finn. LOVE this little guys name… he is welcomed by his big [and I might add... quite adorable] brother, Hayden. Wonderful session with little Finn and then Hayden popped in towards the end to get some brother shots. His mom, Lori, had the best taste in baby couture… I tried to steal some of her sweet blankets she bought. : )

I love babies.

{Emma Grace~7 days fresh} – Asheville Newborn Photographer

Emma Grace was so sleepy and perfect when she came, her mommy & daddy adore her.. as well as her grandmother, Carrie. It is so special for me to be able to feel how much these little new ones are loved. It is miraculous how head-over-heels-in-love new parents are with their babies – never gets old for me to see. Want to know a little secret about my newborn sessions… I always pretend like the baby is not asleep yet so I can get some extra minutes just holding their baby. This is beneficial to me because it gives me my “baby fix” and keeps me from having a house full of babies of my own. : ) You should try it, there is just something about holding something so innocent that makes the problems and cares of life just melt away.

{Campbell ~ 5 days fresh} – Asheville Newborn Photographer

As soon as Blake & Ashley walked through the door with their brand new baby, Campbell, I knew it was going to be a great shoot & boy! was it fun. Actually, it was the fastest newborn shoot to date – we couldn’t wake her up if we wanted to, she was so sleepy. She is beautiful, tiny & quite flexible! She curled right up in a ball and let me pose her however I wanted ( a photographer’s dream come true ). I am looking forward to watching this little one grow – as long as it isn’t too fast. Definitely got my newborn fix with Campbell, but was sad to see her & her WONDERFUL parents walk out the door. Precious family.

Side note: I am booked through the end of September with newborn sessions and have a limited number of openings in October & November. If you are due & know you want to do newborn portraits over the next few months, go ahead and call and let’s get your due date in the calendar. My last day for shooting this year is November 17.
