Some days in life are brighter than others and when Mary Beth brought Ann Louise in, the day got very bright! When Ann Louise’s eyes caught my eyes, I literally felt like I was looking into the eyes of an angel & even now I believe she is an angel sent to this earth. She has a special story that also makes her a real live miracle. I asked her mommy if I could share her story on my blog and she agreed – when MB was pregnant with AL, it was recommended to she and her husband that they terminate her pregnancy or go ahead and enlist terminal care for their unborn baby. WOW! I can’t even imagine being given that advice. Something kept nudging them and through an act of God, they were led to a team in Boston who performed surgery on AL while she was in her mother’s womb. She is the 3rd baby girl to be operated on in the womb for her condition. After 3 open heart surgeries and many procedures, you can see how things turned out. She is smart, perfect, funny, mischievious, walking, talking & definitely one of the most stunning babies I have met. You can read her entire story on her Caringbridge site – please take the time to read. I love to be inspired & this family truly inspires me. She is being featured at the American Heart Association Heart Ball in Greenville – check out the picture with the pink hat, they all get to create and wear funky hats for the ball, super cute! Special shout out to Kelsey for assisting me in this shoot & to Mary Beth for showing up with a large Cherry Coke from Sonic – she knew from a previous blog post that this drink is my favorite & that it makes me in an extra creative mood : )! Thank you, Mary Beth.
I know that Mary Beth will be checking my blog – please take a minute and let them know how their story has inspired you!
